K65R in subtype C HIV-1 isolates from patients failing on a first-line regimen including d4T or AZT: comparison of Sanger and UDP sequencing data.
TL;DR: While Sanger sequencing of subtype C HIV-1 isolates from treated patients at failure of d4T or AZT plus 3TC plus NVP or EFV exhibited numerous mutations including TAMs and 8% K65R, UDPS quantitation of K 65R variants in the same series did not provide any more information than Sanger.
Journal ArticleDOI
Sanger and Next-Generation Sequencing data for characterization of CTL epitopes in archived HIV-1 proviral DNA.
Camille Tumiotto,Lionel Riviere,Pantxika Bellecave,Patricia Recordon-Pinson,Alice Vilain-Parce,Gwendaline Guidicelli,Hervé Fleury,Provir +7 more
TL;DR: In order to process big data generated by Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) of the DNA of HIV-infected patients, a software package called TutuGenetics is developed that combines an alignment derived either from Sanger or NGS files, HLA typing, target gene and a CTL epitope list as input files.
Journal ArticleDOI
Molecular characterization of HIV-1 CRF01_AE in Mekong Delta, Vietnam, and impact of T-cell epitope mutations on HLA recognition (ANRS 12159).
Estibaliz Lazaro,Luong Thu Tram,Pantxika Bellecave,Gwendaline Guidicelli,Guerric Anies,Huynh Hoang Khanh Thu,Marie Pillot Debelleix,Muriel Vray,Patricia Recordon-Pinson,Jean-Luc Taupin,Truong Xuan Lien,Hervé Fleury +11 more
TL;DR: This study confirms the wide predominance of CRF01_AE in the Mekong Delta where patients harbor a specific HLA pattern and demonstrates the lower MHC binding affinity among divergent epitopes.

SARS-CoV-2 transmission via apical syncytia release from primary bronchial epithelia and infectivity restriction in children epithelia
Guillaume Beucher,Marie-Lise Blondot,A. Celle,Noémie Pied,Patricia Recordon-Pinson,Pauline Esteves,Muriel Faure,Mathieu Métifiot,Sabrina Lacomme,Denis Dacheaux,Derrick R. Robinson,Gernot Längst,Fabien Beaufils,Marie-Edith Lafon,Patrick Berger,Marc Landry,Denis Malvy,Thomas Trian,Marie-Line Andreola,Harald Wodrich +19 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used reconstituted primary bronchial epithelia from adult and children donors to follow the infection dynamic following infection with SARS-CoV-2.
Journal ArticleDOI
A New HIV-1 Circulating Recombinant Form (CRF98_cpx) Between CRF06_cpx and Subtype B Identified in Southwestern France.
Patricia Recordon-Pinson,Brunna M. Alves,Camille Tumiotto,Pantxika Bellecave,Fabrice Bonnet,Didier Neau,Esmeralda A. Soares,Marcelo A. Soares,Hervé Fleury +8 more
TL;DR: The data suggest the identification of a new circulating recombinant form (CRF) between CRF06_cpx and subtype B, the structure of which is very complex with multiple breakpoints.
