TL;DR: The risk of colorectal cancer in patients with long-standing ulcerative colitis or colonic Crohn's disease is increased and targeting biopsies using pancolonic chromoendoscopy is superior to taking multiple random biopsy for the detection of dysplasia at colonoscopy.
