Effect of Synthesis Time of Carbon Supported Pd/Au NPs on TCE degradation
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of formation time on carbon-supported Pd/Au NPs catalyst to potentially expedite the synthesis process was investigated, and the results showed that these as-made GAC-supported NPs which have been fabricated in 24 hours were potent at degrading carcinogens like trichloroethylene (TCE).

Synthesis, Characterization, and Properties of Zero‐valent Iron Nanoparticles
Donald R. Baer,Paul G. Tratnyek,You Qiang,James E. Amonette,John C. Linehan,Vaishnavi Sarathy,James T. Nurmi,Chongmin Wang,Jiji Antony +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an overview of synthesis, characterization and property measurements techniques important for making understanding the nature of zero valent iron nanoparticles is provided. But, as discussed in this paper, there are significant scientific and technological questions that remain to be answered, which requires use of particles that are as well characterized and understood as possible.
Nanosize effects on the kinetics of contaminant reduction by iron and iron oxides
TL;DR: Here the use of a graphical tool for assessing relative rates of reactions occurring on particle surfaces is explored, without a mechanistic kinetic model more detailed than any that is current available for this system.
