The N-Vortex Problem

Book

The N-Vortex Problem: Analytical Techniques

TL;DR: In this paper, N-Vortices in the Plane, Domains with Boundaries, Vortex Motion on a Sphere, Geometric Phases, Statistical Point Vortex Theories, Vortex Patch Models and Vortex Filament Models are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Towards Multidrug Adaptive Therapy.

TL;DR: A cancer treatment case study is presented as a point of departure to illustrate three novel concepts to aid the design of multidrug adaptive therapies, which can trap tumor evolution in a periodic, controllable loop.
Journal ArticleDOI

Motion of three point vortices on a sphere

TL;DR: In this article, the relative motion of three point vortices of arbitrary strength moving on the surface of a sphere of radius R is studied. But instead of using spherical coordinates, we use cartesian coordinates in which the vector χi points from the center of the sphere to the vortex with strength Γi.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spreaders and Sponges define metastasis in lung cancer: A Markov chain Monte Carlo Mathematical Model

TL;DR: A Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) approach is used, based on large autopsy data sets, to quantify the stochastic, systemic, and often multidirectional aspects of cancer progression.
