Power supply reliability indices computation with consideration of generation systems, transmission systems and sub-transmission systems' load transfer capabilities

TL;DR: Case study on a practical power system shows that G&T network and the transfer capabilities of sub-transmission network have significant impact on power supply reliability indices and the proposed method can be easily applied to actual system planning.
Journal ArticleDOI

An AGC Dynamic Optimization Method Based on Proximal Policy Optimization

TL;DR: In this article , a novel framework based on proximal policy optimization (PPO) reinforcement learning algorithm is proposed to optimize power regulation among each AGC generator in advance. And the results of the case study show that the framework proposed in this article can make the frequency characteristic better satisfy the control performance standard (CPS) under the scenario of large fluctuations in power systems.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Assessing System Risk and Integrating Operation and Planning Functions for Chongqing Power using EPRI Probabilistic Risk Assessment Program

TL;DR: In this paper, the application of the Probabilistic Reliability Assessment (PRA) program for Chongqing power is presented to obtain new insights into system behaviors and develop the benchmark of system reliability, which provides a way to integrate the planning and operation functions based on risk analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Improvement of reliability for high-ohmic Cr–Si thin film resistors in a heat and humid environment: Removing moisture source by electrocatalytic decomposition of water

TL;DR: Cr–Si-Ni–Ni–Mo and Cr–Si–Ni films with low temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) were prepared and compared in the same conditions to study their performance in a HH environment to address the raised issue from experimental data and verify the proposed hypothesis.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Estimation of continental renewable energy export potential to support global energy interconnection initiative

TL;DR: In this article, a global renewable power export potential analysis to support global energy interconnection initiative is performed, based on analyzing impact factors including economic factors, political factors and technical factors, renewable energy export potential is represented as a function of renewable energy production and local energy consumption.
