Obliquity-forced aquifer-eustasy during the Late Cretaceous greenhouse world

TL;DR: In this paper , the lake level of the Songliao basin was recovered from sedimentary noise modeling and presented as a proxy for the water table of the groundwater reservoir, showing a clear out-of-phase relationship with the coeval sea level, validating the aquifer-eustasy hypothesis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Late Paleoproterozoic orogenic evolution of the northern Tarim Craton, NW China: Insights from phase equilibrium modeling and zircon U-Pb geochronology of metapelitic granulite in the Kuluketage area

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors conducted petrography, zircon U-Pb geochronology, and phase equilibria modeling of metapelitic granulite collected from the Xingditage Group.
Journal ArticleDOI

Metamorphism and geochronology of garnet mica schists from the Kuluketage area: Implications for reconstructions of the Tarim Craton in supercontinent Columbia

TL;DR: In this article , a phase equilibrium model study of garnet mica schists in the northern Tarim reveals two clockwise P-T paths, indicating a rapid exhumation process.
Journal ArticleDOI

Possible response of N2O emission to marine redox fluctuation during the Ediacaran-Cambrian transition in Nanhua Basin, South China

TL;DR: In this paper, a multi geochemical proxy approach was conducted on the upper Ediacaran to lower Cambrian marine successions spanning from platform to slope facies of the Yangtze Block.
