Photochemically generated nitrilium phosphane-ylid tungsten complexes and their reactivity towards alkyne and nitrile derivatives

TL;DR: The photochemically generated nitrilium phosphane-ylid tungsten complex 2 reacts with different activated alkynes, including dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate (DMAD), and nitriles, ethyl cyanoformate (ECF) (iii) and 1-piperidinonitrile (iv), giving [3+2] cycloaddition products such as the 2H-1,2-azaphosphole complexes 3 (i) and 4 (ii).
Journal ArticleDOI

Secondary Interactions in Gold(I) Complexes with Thione Ligands. 1. Three Ionic Chlorides

TL;DR: Secondary interactions in the structures of [(etu) 2 Au] + Cl - H 2 O (1), (etu), 2 Au ] + Cl- (2) and (me-etu)-2 Au]+ Cl-(3) have been analysed in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Gold(I) complexes with amino acid derivatives: preparation and crystal structure of triphenylphosphine-(N-benzoyl-L-alaninato)gold(I)

TL;DR: The title compound was synthesized from Ph3PAuCl and the silver salt of the amino acid derivative as mentioned in this paper, and its X-ray structure reveals the presence of two independent molecules each with approximately linear coordination at gold.
Journal ArticleDOI

Charge-transfer salts with mononuclear and dinuclear ylide gold(I) complexes: x-ray structure of [Au(CH2PPh3)2](TCNQ) (TCNQ = 7,7′,8,8′-tetracyanoquinodimethane)

TL;DR: The structure of [Au(CH2PPh3)2](TCNQ) has been established by X-ray crystallography as discussed by the authors, and two independent TCNQ molecules are related by a crystallographic inversion symmetry.
Journal ArticleDOI

Isolation and Reactivity of a Frustrated N-Heterocyclic Carbene-Borane

TL;DR: In this article, the frustrated carbene-borane 4-(9-borabicyclo[3.3.1]nonane (BBN-Cl) was obtained from the reaction of 1 with BBN-cl; however, its conversion into 6 by treatment with K[N(SiMe3)2] (potassium hexamethyldisilazide, KHMDS) was not achieved.
