68Ga-FAPI PET/CT: Tracer Uptake in 28 Different Kinds of Cancer
Clemens Kratochwil,Paul Flechsig,Thomas Lindner,Labidi Abderrahim,Annette Altmann,Annette Altmann,Walter Mier,Sebastian Adeberg,Hendrik Rathke,Manuel Röhrich,Hauke Winter,Peter K. Plinkert,Frederik Marmé,Matthias Lang,Hans-Ulrich Kauczor,Dirk Jäger,Dirk Jäger,Jürgen Debus,Jürgen Debus,Uwe Haberkorn,Uwe Haberkorn,Frederik L. Giesel +21 more
TL;DR: The high and rather selective tumor uptake on 68Ga-FAPI PET/CT may open up new applications for noninvasive tumor characterization, staging examinations, or radioligand therapy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Loss of SOX2 expression induces cell motility via vimentin up-regulation and is an unfavorable risk factor for survival of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
Pilar Bayo,Pilar Bayo,Adriana Jou,Adriana Jou,Adriana Jou,Albrecht Stenzinger,Chunxuan Shao,Madeleine Gross,Madeleine Gross,Alexandra Jensen,Niels Grabe,Christel Herold Mende,Pantelis Varvaki Rados,Juergen Debus,Wilko Weichert,Peter K. Plinkert,Peter Lichter,Kolja Freier,Jochen Hess,Jochen Hess +19 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that SOX2 inhibits tumor cell motility in HNSCC cells and that lowSOX2 expression serves as a prognosticator to identify HNS CC patients at high risk for treatment failure.
Journal ArticleDOI
Kallikrein-related peptidase 6 regulates epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition and serves as prognostic biomarker for head and neck squamous cell carcinoma patients
Carola H. Schrader,Markus R. Kolb,Karim Zaoui,Christa Flechtenmacher,Niels Grabe,Klaus-Josef Weber,Thomas Hielscher,Peter K. Plinkert,Jochen Hess,Jochen Hess +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, the expression of Kallikrein-related peptidase 6 (KLK6) is a common feature for many human malignancies and numerous studies evaluated KLK6 as a promising biomarker for early diagnosis or unfavorable prognosis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Phenotype-assisted transcriptome analysis identifies FOXM1 downstream from Ras–MKK3–p38 to regulate in vitro cellular invasion
Andreas Behren,Andreas Behren,S Mühlen,S Mühlen,G A Acuna Sanhueza,Christian Schwager,Peter K. Plinkert,Peter E. Huber,A Abdollahi,A Abdollahi,A Abdollahi,Christian Simon +11 more
TL;DR: FoxM1, PLK1 and CDK1 are identified to be differentially regulated in invasive Ha-RasEJ-NIH3T3 and MKK3act–NIH 3T3 cells and FOXM1 is identified as a key downstream target of Ras and Mkk3-induced cellular in vitro invasion and anchorage-independent growth signaling.
Journal ArticleDOI
High S100A8 and S100A12 protein expression is a favorable prognostic factor for survival of oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma.
Sonja Funk,Regina Mark,Regina Mark,Pilar Bayo,Pilar Bayo,Christa Flechtenmacher,Niels Grabe,Peter Angel,Peter K. Plinkert,Jochen Hess,Jochen Hess +10 more
TL;DR: Analysis of S100/calgranulin protein levels in a retrospective patient cohort of oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma patients revealed worse overall survival of OPSCC patients with simultaneous reduction of S 100A8 and S100A12 expression, suggesting distinct regulation and function of individual S100 /calgranulins in the pathogenesis of HNSCCs.
