Assessment of seasonal variations in surface water quality.

TL;DR: Analysis of surface water quality data for 16 physical and chemical parameters collected from 22 monitoring stations in a river during the years from 1998 to 2001 shows that a parameter that is most important in contributing to water quality variation for one season may not be important for another season.

TL;DR: It is suggested that addition of BC to soil, via natural fires or biochar amendments, will sequester abundant native OM through sorption, and greater sorption of both catechol and HA occurred on biochars with nanopores, i.e.Biochars made at higher temperatures.

Safety-net role of tree roots: evidence from a pecan (Carya illinoensis K. Koch)-cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) alley cropping system in the southern United States
