Journal ArticleDOI

Spin dynamics in the pseudogap state of a high-temperature superconductor

TL;DR: In this article, inelastic neutron scattering from underdoped YBa2Cu3O was used to show that the dispersion relations of spin excitations in the superconducting and pseudogap states are qualitatively different.
Journal ArticleDOI

Novel magnetic order in the pseudogap state of high- copper oxides superconductors

TL;DR: Using polarized neutron diffraction, a novel magnetic order has been identified as an hidden order parameter of the pseudogap as the transition temperature corresponds to what is expected for the pseudoogap as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Magnetic resonant excitations in High-Tc superconductors

Abstract: The observation of an unusual spin resonant excitation in the superconducting state of various High-T c copper oxides by inelastic neutron scattering measurements is reviewed. This magnetic mode is discussed in light of a few theoretical models and likely corresponds to a spin-1 collective mode.
Journal ArticleDOI

Incommensurate Intermodulation of an Organic Intergrowth Compound Observed by Neutron Scattering.

TL;DR: The observation of an incommensurate diffraction pattern in urea inclusion compounds by neutron diffraction is reported, which reveals for the first time in these compounds the existence of all kinds of reflections expected for an intermodulated composite.
