Scattering from a coated nihility circular cylinder placed in chiral metamaterial

TL;DR: In this paper, the vector wave equation is used to find out the solution for the fields scattered from the concentric chiral ciruclar cylinders immersed in chiral metamaterial, and the results for the special case of dielectric coated nihility/PEC cylinders in free space are shown to be in agreement with already published results.
Journal ArticleDOI

Suppression of circular Bragg phenomenon in tilt-modulated chiral-sculptured thin films at oblique incidence

TL;DR: In this article, the reflectance and transmittance of light for an obliquely incident circularly polarized plane wave on a tilt-modulated chiral sculptured thin film (STF) were computed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Diffraction of EM Plane Wave by a Slit in an Impedance Plane Using Maliuzhinets Function

TL;DR: In this paper, a method based on the Maliuzhinets technique for impedance surfaces is presented, and the field patterns with different values of the face impedance are also compared with different value of the impedance.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fractional Dual Solutions Using Calculus of Differential Forms

TL;DR: In this paper, fractional dual solutions to the Maxwell equations are derived using differential forms formalism, which is regarded as intermediate step between the original solutions and dual to the original solution.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electromagnetic scattering from a topological insulator cylinder placed in chiral medium

TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the scattering of time harmonic electromagnetic plane wave from a topological insulator circular cylinder in chiral medium and found that the same, when time reversal symmetry broken, is similar to scattering from a perfect conductors.
