Journal ArticleDOI
Adding dynamics to the Human Connectome Project with MEG.
Linda J. Larson-Prior,Robert Oostenveld,S. Della Penna,Georgios Michalareas,Fred W. Prior,Abbas Babajani-Feremi,Jan-Mathijs Schoffelen,Laura Marzetti,F. de Pasquale,F. De Pompeo,J. Stout,Mark W. Woolrich,Qian Luo,Richard D. Bucholz,Pascal Fries,Vittorio Pizzella,Gian Luca Romani,Maurizio Corbetta,A.Z. Snyder +18 more
TL;DR: The Human Connectome Project (HCP) as discussed by the authors aims to map the structural and functional connections between network elements in the human brain using magnetoencephalography (MEG) data.
Journal ArticleDOI
Complexity analysis of resting state magnetoencephalography activity in traumatic brain injury patients.
Qian Luo,Duo Xu,Tyler Roskos,Jeffrey Stout,Lynda Kull,Xi Cheng,Diane Whitson,Erich Boomgarden,Jeffrey D. Gfeller,Richard D. Bucholz +9 more
TL;DR: The authors' results indicated reduced complexity in multiple brain areas in TBI patients relative to the healthy controls, and several neuropsychological measures associated with motor responses, visual perception, and memory, correlated with LZC, likely explains some of the cognitive deficits in T BI patients.
Journal ArticleDOI
Theta band activity in response to emotional expressions and its relationship with gamma band activity as revealed by MEG and advanced beamformer source imaging.
TL;DR: The results suggest that in emotional processing, neuronal oscillations in the gamma and theta bands may reflect, at least in visual and frontal cortex either different but related functional processes or, perhaps more probably, different computational components of the same functional process.
