Journal ArticleDOI

METTL3-mediated m6A modification of HDGF mRNA promotes gastric cancer progression and has prognostic significance

TL;DR: Elevated METTL3 expression promotes tumour angiogenesis and glycolysis in GC, indicating that METTL 3 expression is a potential prognostic biomarker and therapeutic target for human GC.
Journal ArticleDOI

Emerging role of RNA methyltransferase METTL3 in gastrointestinal cancer

TL;DR: Light is shed on recent findings regarding the biological function ofMETTL3 in gastrointestinal cancer and future research directions and potential clinical applications of METTL3 for gastrointestinal cancer are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

m6A Reader HNRNPA2B1 Promotes Esophageal Cancer Progression via Up-Regulation of ACLY and ACC1.

TL;DR: HNRNPA2B1 functions as an oncogenic factor in promoting ESCA progression via up-regulation of fatty acid synthesis enzymes ACLY and ACC1, and it may be a promising prognostic biomarker and therapeutic target for human ESCA.
Journal ArticleDOI

The long noncoding RNA CRAL reverses cisplatin resistance via the miR-505/CYLD/AKT axis in human gastric cancer cells.

TL;DR: The results indicated that CRAL mainly resided in the cytoplasm and could sponge endogenous miR-505 to upregulate cylindromatosis (CYLD) expression, which further suppressed AKT activation and led to an increase in the sensitivity of gastric cancer cells to cisplatin in vitro and in preclinical models.
Journal ArticleDOI

LncCCLM inhibits lymphatic metastasis of cervical cancer by promoting STAU1-mediated IGF-1 mRNA degradation.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors identified a novel long noncoding RNA (lncRNA), LncCCLM, that was downregulated in cervical cancer tissues and was closely associated with lymphatic metastasis.
