Journal ArticleDOI

A measurement of σtot(e+e− → hadrons) for cm energies between 12.0 and 36.7 GeV

TL;DR: The ration R = σ (e + e − → hadrons) σ μμ was measured between 12.0 and 36.7 GeV c.m. energy with a precision of typically ± 5.2% as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Scale breaking in inclusive charged particle production by e+e− annihilation

TL;DR: In this paper, the scale cross section s d σ d x p for e+e− annihilation was studied for c.m. energies W between 12.0 and 36.7 GeV.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electroweak coupling constants in the leptonic reactions e+e− → e+e− and e+e− → μ+μ− and search for scalar leptons

TL;DR: In this paper, a high statistics experiment was performed on Bhabha scattering at energies between 14 and 34 GeV, and the combined data on scalar leptons and μ pair production were found to agree with the standard theory of electroweak interaction giving sin2 θ = 0.27−0.07+0.06.
Journal ArticleDOI

Charge asymmetry and weak interaction effects in e+e−→μ+μ− and e+e−→τ+τ−

TL;DR: In this article, at an average center-of-mass energy of 34.22 GeV a forward-backward charge asymmetry in the reaction e + e − → μ + μ − of value −0.161 ± 0.032.
Journal ArticleDOI

PROPERTIES OF CHARM JETS PRODUCED IN e+e - ANNIHILATION NEAR 34 GeV

M. Althoff, +106 more
- 02 Feb 1984 -
TL;DR: In this article, D ∗± X was studied at CM energies near 34 GeV and the charged particles produced in the hemisphere opposite to that of the D∗ were used to investigate the fragmentation of charm jets.
