Combined Measurement and QCD Analysis of the Inclusive e± p Scattering Cross Sections at HERA

F. D. Aaron, +541 more
TL;DR: In this article, a combination of the inclusive deep inelastic cross sections measured by the H1 and ZEUS Collaborations in neutral and charged current unpolarised e(+/-)p scattering at HERA during the period 1994-2000 is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Combination of Measurements of Inclusive Deep Inelastic $e^{\pm}p$ Scattering Cross Sections and QCD Analysis of HERA Data

Halina Abramowicz, +328 more
TL;DR: A combination of all inclusive deep inelastic cross sections previously published by the H1 and ZEUS collaborations at HERA for neutral and charged current scattering for zero beam polarisation is presented in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Evidence for planar events in e+e− annihilation at high energies

TL;DR: Hadron jets produced in e+e− annihilation between 13 GeV and 31.6 GeV in c.m. energy at PETRA are analyzed in this article, showing that the broadening of the jets is not uniform in azimuthal angle around the quark direction but tends to yield planar events with large and growing transverse momenta in the plane and smaller transverse momentsa normal to the plane.
Journal ArticleDOI

Construction and beam test of the ZEUS forward and rear calorimeter

TL;DR: The forward and rear calorimeters of the ZEUS experiment are made of 48 modules with maximum active dimensions of 4.6 m height, 0.2 m width, 7 λ depth and maximum weight of 12 t as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Observation of events with a large rapidity gap in deep inelastic scattering at HERA

M. Derrick, +462 more
- 07 Oct 1993 -
TL;DR: In this article, neutral current scattering of electrons and protons at square-root s = 296 GeV was observed in the ZEUS detector events with a large rapidity gap in the hadronic final state.
