Adsorption of Fluoride from Water Solution on Bone Char
Nahum Andrés Medellín-Castillo,Roberto Leyva-Ramos,Raúl Ocampo-Pérez,Ramon F. Garcia De La Cruz,Antonio Aragón-Piña,Jose M. Martinez-Rosales,R.M. Guerrero-Coronado,Laura Fuentes-Rubio +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effects of solution pH and temperature on the adsorption of fluoride onto bone char made from cattle bones were investigated, and it was found that the maximum adaption took place at pH 3.
Journal ArticleDOI
Adsorption of cadmium(II) from aqueous solution onto activated carbon
Roberto Leyva-Ramos,J. R. Rangel-Mendez,Jovita Mendoza-Barron,Laura Fuentes-Rubio,R.M. Guerrero-Coronado +4 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of temperature and pH on the adsorption isotherm of cadmium on activated carbon was investigated and it was found that the effect is a strong function of pH and temperature.
Journal ArticleDOI
Adsorption of chromium(VI) from an aqueous solution on a surfactant-modified zeolite
Roberto Leyva-Ramos,Araceli Jacobo-Azuara,Paola E. Diaz-Flores,R.M. Guerrero-Coronado,Jovita Mendoza-Barron,María Selene Berber-Mendoza +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the adsorption equilibrium data of Cr(VI) from an aqueous solution on a surfactant-modified zeolite (SMZ) was determined in a batch adsorber.
Journal ArticleDOI
Adsorption of trivalent chromium from aqueous solutions onto activated carbon
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of pH on the adsorption isotherm was investigated at pH values of 2, 4, 5 and 6, and it was concluded that Cr(III) is adsorbed to an appreciable extent on activated carbon.
Journal ArticleDOI
Adsorption rate of phenol from aqueous solution onto organobentonite: surface diffusion and kinetic models.
TL;DR: It was demonstrated that the overall rate of adsorption was essentially not affected by the external mass transfer and the surface diffusion coefficient increased raising the mass of phenol adsorbed at equilibrium and was independent of the particle diameter.
