Journal ArticleDOI

148 FOLLICULAR FLUID microRNA SEQUENCES AS BIOMARKERS OF COMPETENT OOCYTES IN CATTLE

TL;DR: The results indicate that the different oocyte quality is associated with a different miRNA blueprint, which may alter the expression of several genes relevant for intra- and extra-ovarian processes, and overexpressed miRNAs in both groups regulate several genes involved in processes apparently not related to folliculogenesis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Light-based 3D printing of gelatin-based biomaterial inks to Create a Physiologically Relevant in Vitro Fish Intestinal Model.

TL;DR: In this paper , a porogen-containing hydrogel-based 3D printing of the intestinal epithelial cell line was used to simulate the microenvironment of the human intestinal mucosa in vitro.
Journal ArticleDOI

Carotenoids in female and male reproduction.

TL;DR: In this paper , the role of carotenoids in male and female reproductive functions in species of veterinary interest was investigated and the mechanisms of action seem to be exerted by activating Kit and Stra8 pathways in both female and male.
Journal ArticleDOI

Distinct Organotypic Platforms Modulate Rainbow Trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) Intestinal Cell Differentiation In Vitro

TL;DR: In this article , the authors compared four options, seeding the RTpiMI cell line derived from the proximal intestine on (1) polyethylene terephthalate (PET) culture inserts ThinCert™ (TC), (2) TC coated with the solubilized basement membrane matrix Matrigel® (MM), (3) TC with the rainbow trout fibroblast cell line RTskin01 embedded within the MATrigel´s matrix (MMfb), or (4) the highly porous polystyrene scaffold Alvetex® populated with the abovementioned fibroblasts cell line (AV).
Journal ArticleDOI

232 Combined effect of miR-200b/c and mechanical stimuli to generate blastoids

TL;DR: Reproduction, Fertility and development is an international journal publishing original research , review and comment in the fields of reproduction and developmental biology in humans, domestic animals and wildlife as discussed by the authors .
