Traveling wave fronts and the transition to saturation

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a general method to study the solutions to nonlinear QCD evolution equations, based on a deep analogy with the physics of traveling waves, showing that the transition to the saturation regime of high energy QCD is identical to the formation of the front of a traveling wave.
Journal ArticleDOI

Unified description of Bjorken and Landau 1+1 hydrodynamics

TL;DR: In this article, a generalization of the Bjorken in-out Ansatz for fluid trajectories is proposed, which, when applied to the 1+1 hydrodynamic equations, generates a one-parameter family of analytic solutions interpolating between the boost-invariant Bjorksen picture and the non-boost-in-out one by Landau.
Journal ArticleDOI

Exclusive vector meson production at HERA from QCD with saturation

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the diffractive production of vector mesons using analytic results in the framework of the Balitsky-Kovchegov (BK) equation at nonzero momentum transfer.
Journal ArticleDOI

Systematics of geometric scaling

TL;DR: In this paper, a quality factor is defined to quantify the phenomenological validity of the scaling and the uncertainty on the intercept λ, showing that the second choice is as valid as the first one, predicted for fixed coupling constant.
Journal ArticleDOI

Inclusive Higgs Boson and Dijet Production via Double Pomeron Exchange

TL;DR: Inclusive Higgs boson and dijet cross sections at the Fermilab Tevatron collider via double Pomeron exchange noticeably increase the predictions for tagged (anti)protons in Run II with respect to exclusive production, with the potentiality of Higgs Boson detection.
