Properties of pervious concrete – A state of the art review

TL;DR: In this article, a review of the developments in the field of pervious concrete using alternate construction materials is presented, which mainly focussed on the various properties of Pervious concrete based on the types of binders, admixtures and size of coarse aggregates.
Journal ArticleDOI

Optimization of biodiesel production from Pungamia oil by Taguchi's technique

TL;DR: In this article, the L9 orthogonal array was used to optimize the maximum yield of biodiesel production from raw Pungamia oil by using Taguchi's method, and the analysis revealed that 550 rpm stirrer speed, 15 g of NaOH catalyst, and 80 min reaction time are the optimum parameters for methyl esters.
Journal ArticleDOI

Catalyst derived from wastes for biofuel production: a critical review and patent landscape analysis

TL;DR: In this article, a review of waste catalyst derived biofuel along with their performance contributes in the self-sustenance of biodiesel production has been presented, where the authors flow through the path of progress of biofuel and about the destination of its progress in near future.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of Nano-Silica in high performance concrete

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of nano silica (NS) and fly ash (FA) on properties of high performance has been addressed, and the results proved that Nano silica acts as perfect filler material which helps in filling up pores and accelerates hydration process.
