Journal ArticleDOI

Serum protein s-100 predicts clinical outcome in patients with melanoma treated with adjuvant interferon--comparison with tyrosinase rt-PCR.

TL;DR: S-100 determination has a higher positive predictive value than RT-PCR, while tyrosinase RT- PCR adds prognostic information in patients with S-100 <0.15 µg/l, which indicates a high risk of death in resected melanoma patients.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Bayesian compressive sensing of wavelet coefficients using multiscale Laplacian priors

TL;DR: Experimental results demonstrate that the reconstruction performance of the proposed algorithm is competitive with state-of-the-art methods while outperforming them in terms of running times.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Bayesian super-resolution of text image sequences from low resolution observations

TL;DR: This paper derives mathematical expressions for the calculation of the maximum a posteriori estimate of the high resolution image and the estimation of the parameters involved in the model, and tests the method on real text images and car plates.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fast Bayesian blind deconvolution with Huber Super Gaussian priors

TL;DR: It is shown how Super Gaussian priors can be made numerically tractable around zero by introducing the family of Huber Super Gaussia priors and then a fast EM based blind deconvolution method formulated in the image space is presented.
