Journal ArticleDOI
Structural characteristics of supramolecular assemblies formed by guanidinium-cholesterol reagents for gene transfection.
Bruno Pitard,Noufissa Oudrhiri,Jean-Pierre Vigneron,Michelle Hauchecorne,Olivier Aguerre,R. Toury,Marc Airiau,Rajen Ramasawmy,Daniel Scherman,Joel Crouzet,Jean-Marie Lehn,Pierre Lehn +11 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that DNA condensation by multivalent guanidinium-cholesterol cationic lipids involves the formation of highly ordered multilamellar domains, the DNA molecules being intercalated between the lipid bilayers.
Journal ArticleDOI
Efficient Gene Transfection by Bisguanylated Diacetylene Lipid Formulations
Madhusudan Patel,Eric Vivien,Michelle Hauchecorne,Noufissa Oudrhiri,Rajen Ramasawmy,Jean-Pierre Vigneron,Pierre Lehn,Jean-Marie Lehn +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a reagent where two guanidinium groups are linked to a diacetylene lipid was synthesized, which may provide the lipoplexes with favorable structural features.
Journal ArticleDOI
Vecteurs synthétiques pour le transfert de gènes: état actuel et perspectives
Eric Vivien,Noufissa Oudrhiri,Jean-Pierre Vigneron,Michelle Hauchecorne,Rajen Ramasawmy,Sandrine Riquier,R. Toury,Sylvie Fabrega,Jean Navarro,Jean-Marie Lehn,Pierre Lehn +10 more
TL;DR: Les vecteurs synthetiques constituent un domaine particulierement actif de la therapie genique, and le but est de developper une alternative aux vecteur viraux as discussed by the authors.
