An efficient protocol for the synthesis of quinoxaline derivatives at room temperature using molecular iodine as the catalyst

TL;DR: The use of molecular iodine as the catalyst for a one-pot synthesis of quinoxaline derivatives at room temperature was reported in this article, where it was shown that molecular iodine can be used as a catalyst for any onepot synthesis.
Book ChapterDOI

Nanotechnology for water purification: applications of nanotechnology methods in wastewater treatment

TL;DR: In this article, a review of nanotechnology-enabled water-treatment processes is presented, showing how they transform our water supply and wastewater treatment, including properties, mechanisms, advantages compared to existing methods, limitations, research needs for commercialization, and toxicities of nanomaterials.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spinel zinc ferrite nanoparticles: an active nanocatalyst for microwave irradiated solvent free synthesis of chalcones

TL;DR: In this paper, a magnetically recoverable nano zinc ferrite nanocatalyst was fabricated by means of sol-gel auto ignition strategy, which has been completely portrayed by standard techniques for structural, morphological, compositional, surface, magnetic, dielectric, optical and photoluminescence properties individually.
