Journal ArticleDOI
Influence of crescent shaped absorber in water desalting system
Thirugnanasambantham Arunkumar,Ramalingam Velraj,David Denkenberger,Ravishankar Sathyamurthy +3 more
TL;DR: An innovative design compound conical concentrator (CCC) with a crescent shaped absorber coupled to a single slope solar still (SSSS) has been investigated in this article, where the purpose of the external absorber is to circulate the heat by natural circulation mode.
Journal ArticleDOI
Experimental studies on passive inclined solar panel absorber solar still
C. Sasikumar,A. Muthu Manokar,M. Vimala,D. Prince Winston,Abd Elnaby Kabeel,Ravishankar Sathyamurthy,Ravishankar Sathyamurthy,Ali J. Chamkha +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the passive inclined solar panel basin (PISPB) still at diversified flow rate of water (mf) was analyzed and it was shown that at higher flow condition, the still energy and exergy efficiency decreases and it is estimated as 36.95% and 2.01% for flow rates of 4.68, 7.56 and 10.08
Journal ArticleDOI
Maximum power extraction in solar renewable power system - a bypass diode scanning approach
D. Prince Winston,B. Praveen Kumar,S. Cynthia Christabel,Ali J. Chamkha,Ravishankar Sathyamurthy +4 more
TL;DR: The benefits of using a bypass diode based voltage drop measurement and maximum power point tracking system in the power generation of a PV array and an algorithm to find the global maximum power in short span of time are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Solar energy utilisation for milk pasteurisation: A comprehensive review
Hitesh Panchal,R.N. Patel,Sudhir Chaudhary,D. K. Patel,Ravishankar Sathyamurthy,Thirugnanasambantham Arunkumar +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors discuss various research works have conducted by researchers on milk pasteurization system so an appropriate best solution can be found for sustainable development, which is a process of heating of food or liquid for the killing of bacteria.
