The Doppler cerebroplacental ratio and perinatal outcome in intrauterine growth restriction

TL;DR: In this paper, Doppler identification of the fetal brain-sparing effect strongly predicts outcome in fetuses at risk for intrauterine growth restriction, and the areas under the receiver-operator curves characteristics for the prediction of perinatal outcome with use of the cerebroplacental ratio were statistically very significant.
Journal ArticleDOI

Perinatal morbidity and mortality rates in severe twin-twin transfusion syndrome: results of the International Amnioreduction Registry

TL;DR: In this article, the perinatal survival and morbidity rates in patients with twin-twin transfusion syndrome who were treated with serial aggressive amnioreduction from 1990 to 1998 were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Noninvasive diagnosis by Doppler ultrasonography of fetal anemia resulting from parvovirus infection.

TL;DR: Fetal anemia caused by parvovirus infection can be detected noninvasively by Doppler ultrasonography on the basis of an increase in the peak velocity of systolic blood flow in the middle cerebral artery.
Journal ArticleDOI

Delayed postpartum preeclampsia and eclampsia: demographics, clinical course, and complications.

TL;DR: Education about the possibility of delayed postpartum preeclampsia and eClampsia should occur after delivery, whether or not patients develop hypertensive disease before discharge from the hospital.
