The Pomeron and gauge/string duality
TL;DR: In this paper, a coherent treatment of the Pomeron is presented for large-N QCD-like theories, where the spectrum exhibits a set of Regge trajectories at positive t and a leading j-plane cut for negative t, the cross-over point being model-dependent.
Journal ArticleDOI
Solving Lattice QCD systems of equations using mixed precision solvers on GPUs
TL;DR: A new mixed precision approach for Krylov solvers using reliable updates is developed which allows for full double precision accuracy while using only single or half precision arithmetic for the bulk of the computation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Glueball spectrum for QCD from AdS supergravity duality
TL;DR: In this paper, the spectral splitting and degeneracy patterns for both QCD 4 and QCD 3 were analyzed for the AdS 7 black hole supergravity dual of QCD4 in strong coupling limit.
Journal ArticleDOI
Geometrical models of interface evolution
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors introduce a class of models for the motion of a boundary between time-dependent phase domains in which the interface itself satisfies an equation of motion, and formulate local equations of motion as tractable simplifications of the complex nonlocal dynamics that govern moving-interface problems.
Journal ArticleDOI
QCD as a quantum link model
TL;DR: In this article, a lattice gauge theory for QCD with quarks was proposed, whose extent resembles the inverse gauge coupling of the resulting four-dimensional theory after dimensional reduction, which does not require fine-tuning to approach the chiral limit.
