Obesity Promotes Inflammation in Periaortic Adipose Tissue and Angiotensin II-Induced Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Formation

Lisa A. Cassis,Manisha Gupte,Sarah Thayer,Xuan Zhang,Richard Charnigo,Deborah A. Howatt,Debra L. Rateri,Alan Daugherty +7 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that infusion of ANG II to hyperlipidemic mice induces AAAs and augments atherosclerosis independent of increased blood pressure, and lowers systolic blood pressure but did not prevent AAA formation or Atherosclerosis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Drinking motives as mediators of the impulsivity-substance use relation: pathways for negative urgency, lack of premeditation, and sensation seeking.
