Terahertz third harmonic generation in c-axis La$_{1.85}$Sr$_{0.15}$CuO$_4$

TL;DR: In this article , the nonlinear c-axis response of optimally doped La$1.85}$Sr$ 0.15}$CuO$_4$ using high-field THz time domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) at field strengths up to $\sim$80 kV/cm.
Proceedings Article

Terahertz spectroscopy of single crystal HMX

TL;DR: In this article, the results of terahertz spectroscopic studies on single crystals of the energetic material HMX at various temperatures and crystal orientations were presented, and distinct intermolecular vibrational modes were observed in the range from 55-75 cm/sup -1/
Proceedings ArticleDOI

The interaction of THz phonon-polariton waves with microstructures observed using quantitative, phase-sensitive imaging

TL;DR: In this article, phase-sensitive imaging was applied to enable sharply focused visualization of terahertz waves in electro-optic media, allowing quantitative characterization of THz waves as they interact with microstructures on or in the sample, yielding new insight into these interactions.
