Journal ArticleDOI

Green synthesis of nanoparticles using plant extracts: a review

TL;DR: In this paper, the principles of green chemistry and their application in plant-mediated synthesis of nanoparticles and their recent applications are reviewed. But the use of biological materials such as plants is usually safe.
Journal ArticleDOI

Facile synthesis of chalcone derivatives as antibacterial agents: Synthesis, DNA binding, molecular docking, DFT and antioxidant studies

TL;DR: In this article, a series of β-chalcones derivatives (1a-1l) were synthesized using different substituted amines in basic condition by Claisen-Schmidt condensation reaction.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, molecular docking and DNA binding studies of phthalimide-based copper(II) complex: In vitro antibacterial, hemolytic and antioxidant assessment

TL;DR: The results showed that the copper(II) complex has significant antibacterial potential against Salmonella enteric comparable with ligand (DEEI) and standard drug ciprofloxacin and antioxidant assay demonstrated that scavenging activity of Cu( II) complex is higher as compared to ligand and ascorbic acid as standard.
Journal ArticleDOI

Isolation of proton transfer complexes containing 4-picolinium as cation and pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylate complex as anion: crystallographic and spectral investigations, antioxidant activities and molecular docking studies

TL;DR: In this article, three novel complexes with stoichiometry [4pic-H][M(pda)2]·2H2O [M = Cr (1), Fe (2) and Co (3); H2pda = pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid and 4pic = 4-picoline] have been prepared.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, spectral and crystallographic study, DNA binding and molecular docking studies of homo dinuclear Co(II) and Ni(II) complexes

TL;DR: In this article, two homo dinuclear metal complexes with composition [M2(pda)2(H2O)5]·2H 2O (M = Ni2+ and Co2+) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental, spectral and thermal analysis (UV-vis, FT-IR, Fluorescence, EPR, and TGA).
