Journal ArticleDOI

Pulmonary lymphangioleiomyomatosis. A study of 69 patients. Groupe d'Etudes et de Recherche sur les Maladies "Orphelines" Pulmonaires (GERM"O"P).

TL;DR: The clinical features were in keeping with previous studies, but it was found that exertional dyspnea and pneumothorax were the most common features, and chylous involvement was less frequent, and overall survival was better than usually reported in LAM.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cryptogenic organizing pneumonia: Characteristics of relapses in a series of 48 patients

TL;DR: In this article, the authors retrospectively studied relapses in 48 cases of biopsy-proven COP and concluded that delayed treatment increases the risk of relapses; mild cholestasis identifies a subgroup of patients with multiple relapses, and prolonged therapy to suppress relapses appears unnecessary.
Journal ArticleDOI

Microscopic polyangiitis with alveolar hemorrhage. A study of 29 cases and review of the literature. Groupe d'Etudes et de Recherche sur les Maladies "Orphelines" Pulmonaires (GERM"O"P).

TL;DR: The pulmonary manifestations at presentation and the short- and long-term outcome were characterized, and the recovery of respiratory function among survivors was clinically considered complete in 20 (69%) patients.
