Journal ArticleDOI

Agrochemical treatments as a source of heavy metals and rare earth elements in agricultural soils and bioaccumulation in ground beetles.

TL;DR: The results of this study can supplement the limited information regarding the REE accumulation in soil invertebrates and may provide reference data for assessing potential environmental risks in croplands.
Journal ArticleDOI

Industrial Waste Treatment by ETS-10 Ion Exchanger Material

TL;DR: The results showed that the metal removal efficiency of ETS-10 phase is higher than that obtained by commercial zeolite A, especially towards dangerous heavy metals such as Pb, Zn and Mn.
Journal ArticleDOI

A green approach for organophosphate ester determination in airborne particulate matter: Microwave-assisted extraction using hydroalcoholic mixture coupled with solid-phase microextraction gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry.

TL;DR: The proposed protocol provides for the microwave-assisted extraction of the analytes from the PM followed by solid-phase microextraction gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry determination (SPME-GC-MS/MS) to make the proposed protocol a green and high-throughput alternative for OPE quantification in particulate matter.
Journal ArticleDOI

Development of a fast and simple gas chromatographic protocol based on the combined use of alkyl chloroformate and solid phase microextraction for the assay of polyamines in human urine.

TL;DR: The developed method for the quantification of free polyamines and N-monoacetylated polyamines in human urine was validated according to the guidelines issued by the Food and Drug Administration and made the proposed protocol suitable to be adopted for quantifying these important biomarkers in urine samples.
