Journal ArticleDOI
Production, characterization and dye decolorization ability of a high level laccase from Marasmiellus palmivorus
Camila Cantele,Roselei Claudete Fontana,Aline Ganzer Mezzomo,Letícia Osório da Rosa,Liliane Poleto,Marli Camassola,Aldo José Pinheiro Dillon +6 more
TL;DR: It is evident that M. palmivorus can secrete high concentrations of phenol oxidases with potential biotechnological applications.
Journal ArticleDOI
STATISTICAL OPTIMIZATION OF MINERAL SALT AND UREA CONCENTRATION FOR CELLULASE AND XYLANASE PRODUCTION BY Penicillium echinulatum IN SUBMERGED FERMENTATION
L. dos Reis,Carla Eliana Todero Ritter,Roselei Claudete Fontana,Marli Camassola,Aldo José Pinheiro Dillon +4 more
TL;DR: The experimental design contributed to adjust the concentrations of minerals and urea of the culture media for cellulase and xylanase production by P. echinulatum, avoiding waste of components in the medium.
Journal ArticleDOI
Enzymatic surface modification of sisal fibers ( Agave Sisalana ) by Penicillium echinulatum cellulases
Jeaneth T. Corredor González,Aldo José Pinheiro Dillon,Aly R. Pérez-Pérez,Roselei Claudete Fontana,Carlos Perez Bergmann +4 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of a new microbial enzymatic system, Penicillium echinulatum cellulase, on the surface morphological (SEM), structural (XRD), and thermal (TGA/DTG) properties as well as the surface chemical composition (FT-IR and FT-Raman) of sisal fibers (Agave sisalana) was reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Saccharification of ionic-liquid-pretreated sugar cane bagasse using Penicillium echinulatum enzymes
TL;DR: In this paper, sugarcane bagasse was submitted to pretreatment with 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium acetate ([EMIM][Ac]), 1-butyl-3methyloridazolate (BMIM), 1-methyl-3 methylimide (MDE) chloride (MCL), 1butyl 3 methyloride methylsulphate ([BMIM][CH3SO4]) at two temperatures, 80°C and 120°C.
Journal ArticleDOI
The influence of sorbitol on the production of cellulases and xylanases in an airlift bioreactor.
Carla Eliana Todero Ritter,Roselei Claudete Fontana,Marli Camassola,Mauricio Moura da Silveira,Aldo José Pinheiro Dillon +4 more
TL;DR: The fed-batch process was favorable for obtaining xylanases, but not for FPA and endoglucanases, suggesting that in the case of cellulases, the inducer must be added early in the process.
