Vibrational spectroscopic, NBO, AIM, and multiwfn study of tectorigenin: A DFT approach

TL;DR: Tectorigenin (5,7-dihydroxy-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-6-methoxy-4H-chromen-4-one), a plant isoflavonoid, is a potential bioactive compound having antioxidant, antiinflammatory, antiosteoarthritis, anti-microbiotic, and antiplatelet activity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Investigating 11 Withanosides and Withanolides by UHPLC-PDA and Mass Fragmentation Studies from Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera).

TL;DR: The WS extract from the root was subjected to ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography with photodiode array detection (UHPLC–PDA) analysis to separate 11 withanoside and withanolide compounds and quantified and validated along with bioactive compounds simultaneously in WS.
Journal ArticleDOI

Pharmacokinetic Study of Withanosides and Withanolides from Withania somnifera Using Ultra-High Performance Liquid Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry (UHPLC-MS/MS)

TL;DR: In this article , a rapid, selective, and reproducible bioanalytical method was developed and validated for seven withanosides and withanolides as per USFDA/EMA guidelines, further applied to determine pharmacokinetic parameters of Withania somnifera root extract (WSE) constituents in male Sprague Dawley rats.
Journal ArticleDOI

Caviunin glycoside (CAFG) from Dalbergia sissoo attenuates osteoarthritis by modulating chondrogenic and matrix regulating proteins.

TL;DR: In this article, the potential of Dalbergia sissoo DC leaves and its derived novel compound CAFG to treat the clinical symptoms of osteoarthritis and its underlying mechanism was studied.
