Efficient utilization of crude bio-oil: the synthesis of nitrogen-doped hierarchically porous carbon as electrocatalysts for the oxygen reduction reaction

TL;DR: In this article, nitrogen-doped hierarchically porous carbons (NHPCs) were successfully synthesized from crude bio-oil through a one-step ZnCl2-based template method.
Journal ArticleDOI

Catalytic hydroprocessing of stubborn lignin in supercritical methanol with Cu/CuMgAlOx catalyst

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the depolymerization of stubborn lignin through catalytic hydroprocessing in supercritical methanol with Cu/CuMgAlOx catalyst.
Journal ArticleDOI

Olefin-rich gasoline-range hydrocarbons from oligomerization of bio-syngas over Ni/ASA catalyst

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated catalytic oligomerization of olefins-rich bio-syngas (simulated gas) to gasoline-range hydrocarbons over Ni/ASA catalysts.
Journal ArticleDOI

Thermal-balanced integral model for pyrolysis and ignition of wood

TL;DR: In this article, a thermal-balanced integral model was proposed to predict surface temperature rise, ignition time and ignition temperature of wood with different moisture contents, considering the effect of surface heat losses, average absorptivity and moisture content.
Journal ArticleDOI

The applicability of catalytic esterified biomass-pyrolysis-oil surrogates in diesel engine

TL;DR: In this article, the performance and emission characteristics of catalytic esterified biomass-pyrolysis-oil (BSP-oil) in diesel engine were investigated, and it was shown that the added esters reduced the density of the chemical bonds in soot, and effectively inhibited the formation of crystal structure of soot.
