Resistance and magnetoresistance anomaly in a new stable organic metal (ET)2TlHg(SCN)4

TL;DR: A new organic metal (ET) 2 TlHg(SCN) 4 has been synthesized in this paper, and the X-ray study showed the compound to be isostructural to (ET 2 MHg (SCN 4 ) salts with M = K, NH 4 and Rb.
Journal ArticleDOI

Magnetic oscillations in the 2D network of compensated coupled orbits of the organic metal (BEDT-TTF)8Hg4Cl12(C6H5Br)2

TL;DR: In this article, the dependence of the oscillation amplitude on the temperature and on the magnitude and orientation of the magnetic field is analyzed in the framework of the conventional two-dimensional Lifshitz-Kosevitch (LK) model.
Journal ArticleDOI

Competing types of quantum oscillations in the two-dimensional organic conductor (BEDT-TTF)8Hg4Cl12(C6H5Cl)2

TL;DR: In this paper, a complex oscillatory spectrum, built on linear combinations of three basic frequencies only, is observed in pulsed magnetic fields extending up to 36 T and in the temperature range from 1.6 to 15 K. This analysis reveals that these series result from the contribution of either the conventional Shubnikov\char21{}de Haas effect or quantum interference (QI), both of them being induced by magnetic breakthrough.
