Precipitation in 18 wt% Ni maraging steel of grade 350

TL;DR: In this paper, the evolution of precipitates in maraging steel of grade 350 was studied using the complementary techniques of small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).
Journal ArticleDOI

Performance and calibration of the newly installed medium resolution double crystal based small-angle neutron scattering instrument at trombay

TL;DR: A double crystal based moderate resolution small-angle neutron scattering instrument has been built and commissioned at the guide tube laboratory of Dhruva reactor, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Trombay, India.
Journal ArticleDOI

Origin of buckling phenomenon during drying of micrometer-sized colloidal droplets.

TL;DR: The origin of the buckling of micrometer-sized colloidal droplets during evaporation-induced self-assembly (EISA) has been elucidated using electron microscopy and small-angle neutron scattering and it has been revealed that this phenomenon is better explained by an existing hypothesis based on the formation of a viscoelastic shell of nanoparticles during drying.
Journal ArticleDOI

Formation and characterization of highly crosslinked anion-exchange membranes

TL;DR: In this paper, high-crosslinked/hyperbranched anion-exchange membranes have been prepared by anchoring poly(vinylbenzyl chloride) (PVBCl) within the pores of poly(propylene) microporous base membranes by in situ crosslinking of PVBCl with a diamine 1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2]octane (DABCO).
Journal ArticleDOI

Mechanical and barrier properties of guar gum based nano-composite films.

TL;DR: X-ray scattering analysis revealed that interstitial spacing between nanofil 116 and cloisite 20A sheets increased due to intercalation by guar gum polymer resulted in improved mechanical and barrier properties of nano-composites compared to control.
