Temporally sequenced anticancer drugs overcome adaptive resistance by targeting a vulnerable chemotherapy-induced phenotypic transition
Aaron Goldman,Biswanath Majumder,Andrew Dhawan,S. Ravi,David Goldman,Mohammad Kohandel,Pradip K. Majumder,Shiladitya Sengupta +7 more
TL;DR: It is shown that exposure to a taxane induces phenotypic cell state transition towards a favoured transient CD44HiCD24Hi chemotherapy-tolerant state, associated with a clustering of CD44 and CD24 in membrane lipid rafts, leading to the activation of Src Family Kinase (SFK)/hemopoietic cell kinase (Hck) and suppression of apoptosis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Metabolic adaptation of ovarian tumors in patients treated with an IDO1 inhibitor constrains antitumor immune responses
Kunle Odunsi,Feng Qian,Amit A. Lugade,Melissa A. Geller,Steven P. Fling,Judith C Kaiser,André Lacroix,Leonard A D'Amico,Nirasha Ramchurren,Chihiro Morishima,Mary L. Disis,Lucas Dennis,Patrick Danaher,Sarah Warren,Van Anh Nguyen,S. Ravi,Takemasa Tsuji,Spencer Rosario,Wenjuan Zha,Alan Hutson,Song Liu,Shashikant Lele,Emese Zsiros,AJ Robert McGray,Jessie Chiello,Richard C. Koya,Thinle Chodon,Carl Morrison,Vasanta Putluri,Nagireddy Putluri,Donald E. Mager,Rudiyanto Gunawan,Martin A. Cheever,Sebastiano Battaglia,Junko Matsuzaki +34 more
TL;DR: IDO1 blockade leads to metabolic adaptation of ovarian tumors and increased NAD+, resulting in immune suppression in the tumor microenvironment, and it is suggested that IDO1 inhibitor therapy will require combination with NAD+ signaling blockade.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Design of high performance 64 bit MAC unit
TL;DR: A design of high performance 64 bit Multiplier-and-Accumulator (MAC) is implemented in this paper and performs important operation in many of the digital signal processing (DSP) applications.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Clock Skew Optimization in Pre and Post CTS
TL;DR: Tunable clock buffers and tunable clock inverters is designed and it is compared to see if these designed buffers and inverters are useful for clock skew optimization in pre and post CTS.
Journal ArticleDOI
Low Power and Efficient Dadda Multiplier
TL;DR: Experimental results show that the area reduced full adder in the final addition stage of the Dadda algorithm is capable of reducing the area and total power by 26.1% with only a slight increase in the delay.
