Heitner,Juan Carlos Izpisua Belmonte,Paula Amato,Jin-Soo Kim,Sanjiv Kaul,Shoukhrat Mitalipov +30 more
TL;DR: The efficiency, accuracy and safety of the approach presented suggest that it has potential to be used for the correction of heritable mutations in human embryos by complementing preimplantation genetic diagnosis.

VEGF blockade inhibits angiogenesis and reepithelialization of endometrium
Xiujun Fan,Sacha A. Krieg,Calvin J. Kuo,Stanley J. Wiegand,Marlene Rabinovitch,Maurice L. Druzin,Robert M. Brenner,Linda C. Giudice,Nihar R. Nayak +8 more
TL;DR: Novel experimental data is provided indicating that VEGF is essential for endometrial neoangiogenesis during postmenstrual/postpartum repair and also blocked reepithelialization in both the post menstrual endometrium and the mouse uterus after decidual breakdown.
Journal ArticleDOI
Obstetric outcomes in donor oocyte pregnancies compared with advanced maternal age in in vitro fertilization pregnancies.
TL;DR: This study suggests that women undergoing IVF with donor oocytes are not at increased risk for complications during pregnancy or at increased immediate neonatal complications compared with women of advanced maternal age undergoingIVF with autologous oocytes.
Journal ArticleDOI
HMG-1 stimulates estrogen response element binding by estrogen receptor from stably transfected HeLa cells.
TL;DR: A system in which ER, stably expressed in HeLa cells and easily purified, exhibits extremely high affinity for the ERE is described, and it is suggested that intracellular levels of HMG-1 may be limiting for ER action.
