Electrochromic Behavior of Vanadium Pentoxide Thin Films Prepared by a Sol–Gel Spin Coating Process

Nanofluids are considered as an effective way to enhance the thermal conductivity of heat transfer fluids. Additionally, the involvement of micro-organisms makes the liquid more stable, which is important in nanotechnology, bio-nano cooling systems, and bio-microsystems. Therefore, the current investigation focused on the examination of the thermodynamic and mass transfer of a Carreau–Yasuda magnetic bionanomaterial with gyrotactic micro-organisms, which is facilitated by radiative peristaltic transport. A compliant/elastic symmetric channel subject to partial slip constraints was chosen. The features of viscous dissipation and ohmic heating were incorporated into thermal transport. We use the Brownian and thermophoretic movement characteristics of the Buongiorno nanofluid model in this study. A set of nonlinear ordinary differential equations are created from the partial differential equations that control fluid flow. The governing system of differential equations is solved numerically via the shooting technique. The results of pertinent parameters are examined through velocity, temperature, motile micro-organisms, concentration, and heat transfer rate.

Analysis of Motile Gyrotactic Micro-Organisms for the Bioconvection Peristaltic Flow of Carreau–Yasuda Bionanomaterials

In this work, a complex examination of vanadium oxide thin films prepared by gas impulse magnetron sputtering with various Ar:O2 gas ratios of 2:1 ÷ 8:1 was conducted. X-ray diffraction revealed the amorphous nature of the prepared thin films, and scanning electron microscopy images showed that the thin films were crack-free and homogenous. Optical properties investigations revealed that a higher oxygen content in the Ar:O2 atmosphere during sputtering caused an increase in transparency. The sample prepared with the highest amount of oxygen in the gas mixture during deposition had 51.1% of the average transmission in the visible wavelength range. A decrease in oxygen caused deterioration in the thin film transparency with the lowest value equal to 21.8%. Electrical measurements showed that the prepared thin films had a semiconducting character with either electron or hole conduction type, depending on the sputtering gas composition. A small amount of oxygen in the gas mixture resulted in the deposition of p-type thin films, whereas an increase in the amount of oxygen caused a change to n-type electrical conduction. Resistivity decreased with increasing Ar:O2 ratio. The gas sensing response toward diluted hydrogen was investigated for all the VxOy thin films, but at low operating temperatures, only the p-type thin films exhibited a visible response.

Complex Research on Amorphous Vanadium Oxide Thin Films Deposited by Gas Impulse Magnetron Sputtering

Nanofluids are extremely beneficial to scientists because of their excellent heat transfer rates, which have numerous medical and industrial applications. The current study deals with the peristaltic flow of nanofluid (i.e., Casson nanofluid) in a symmetric elastic/compliant channel. Buongiorno’s framework of nanofluids was utilized to create the equations for flow and thermal/mass transfer along with the features of Brownian motion and thermophoresis. Slip conditions were applied to the compliant channel walls. The thermal field incorporated the attributes of viscous dissipation, ohmic heating, and thermal radiation. First-order chemical-reaction impacts were inserted in the mass transport. The influences of the Hall current and mixed convection were also presented within the momentum equations. Lubricant approximations were exploited to make the system of equations more simplified for the proposed framework. The solution of a nonlinear system of ODEs was accomplished via a numerical method. The influence of pertinent variables was examined by constructing graphs of fluid velocity, temperature profile, and rate of heat transfer. The concentration field was scrutinized via table. The velocity of the fluid declined with the increment of the Hartman number. The effects of thermal radiation and thermal Grashof number on temperature showed opposite behavior. Heat transfer rate was improved by raising the Casson fluid parameter and the Brownian motion parameter.

Double diffusion Forchheimer flow of Carreau-Yasuda nanofluid with bioconvection and entropy generation: Thermal optimized analysis via non-Fourier model

Nanofluids have recently been widely used in energy technologies and physiological processes. These fluids have already demonstrated significant interest in the thermal amplification of numerous industrial sectors. Therefore, the present work investigates the mixed convective peristaltic flow of Carreau-Yasuda nanoliquid in presence of slip conditions. Modified Darcy's expression for porous space is utilized. A symmetric channel with compliant wall characteristics is considered. The characteristics of Brownian motion and thermophoresis are included in the nanofluid model being considered. Outcomes of first-order chemical reactions and radiation are analyzed. The resulting problem is solved numerically by using the NDSolve technique via Mathematica. Features of pertinent variables against velocity, temperature and concentration are graphically discussed. Finally, heat transfer rate is examined through tabular values. Velocity of the fluid shows opposite behavior for porous medium and velocity slip parameter. Temperature is declines for radiation parameter. Heat transfer rate enhances for larger Brownian motion and thermophoresis variables.

Determining Optical Constants of Sol-Gel Vanadium Pentoxide Thin Films using Transmittance and Reflectance Spectra

The conformal mapping (CM) mode is engaged for conformal antenna strategy using the geometric representation of the CM. For some conformal antennas (CAs) have the same shape, actuality able to segment a shared rough system, which is an essential improvement of this method in these CA optimizations (CAOs). Different parameters of CAs are optimized. The function reactions in this sample are selected as starlike distribution. The assessments of efficiency, gain and accuracy with the commercial software Mathematica 11.2 are prepared. The suggested method is mainly appropriate for CAO. Moreover, we formulate the energy operator in a 2D geometry, when the discharged field is detected over a semi-circumference in the far zone.

Analytic technique to determine the energy of conformal antennas

Fractional differential equations have recently received a great attention by various researchers due to their excellence and effective role in different fields of science including physics, control theory, engineering, signal processing and fractional dynamics as well. In this paper we aim to discuss Al-Salam fractional q-integral operator on certain q-analogues of Bessel functions. We give definitions and derive results and formulas utilizing a series form of certain fractional integral. Further, apply the generalized new fractional integral to q-Bessel functions of types, one, two and three as well. Multiplication of more two q-Bessel functions of same order is also considered to generalize the singular case.
