Chemical constituents of Salacia elliptica (Celastraceae)
Lucienir Pains Duarte,Rute C. Figueiredo,Grasiely Faria de Sousa,Débora B. S. Soares,Salomão Bento Vasconcelos Rodrigues,Fernando C. Silva,Grácia Divina de Fátima Silva,Sidney Augusto Vieira Filho +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the chemical structure and relative configuration of a new triterpene 1,3-dioxo-16α-hydroxyfriedelane (15) were established through 1H and 13C NMR including 2D experiments (HMBC, HMQC, COSY and NOESY).
Journal ArticleDOI
Anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and acetylcholinesterase inhibitory activities of friedelanes from Maytenus robusta branches and isolation of further triterpenoids
Grasiely Faria de Sousa,Mariana G. de Aguilar,Danielle Ferreira Dias,Jacqueline A. Takahashi,Maria Eliza de Castro Moreira,Sidney Augusto Vieira Filho,Grácia Divina de Fátima Silva,Salomão Bento Vasconcelos Rodrigues,Maria Cristina Teixeira Braga Messias,Lucienir Pains Duarte +9 more
TL;DR: The novel pentacyclic triterpenoids isolated from Maytenus robusta branches were established by IR, 1D/2D NMR and HR-APCIMS spectral data and the biological activity of compound 2 and the previously isolated friedelanes 5 – 8 was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
O ensino superior de química: reflexões a partir de conceitos básicos para a química orgânica
TL;DR: In this article, a data-collecting instrument applied to undergraduate chemistry students at the end of the course in organic chemistry investigated some concepts essential to the education of a chemist, such as interatomic and intermolecular interactions and Lewis structure, and observed that students have difficulty dealing with these concepts, and this is related to the type of class they had/have and to the way the concepts are presented in the college textbooks.
