[A convergence of "adequate" and "healthy": an analysis of the notion of adequate and healthy diet in public policies in Brazil].

Abstract: No âmbito das politicas publicas brasileiras para alimentacao e nutricao e para seguranca alimentar e nutricional, a partir da virada do seculo XXI, observa-se que a alimentacao deixou de ser adjetivada somente como “saudavel” e passou tambem a ser referida como “adequada”. Essas nocoes vem sendo construidas e defendidas socio-historicamente e passando por ampliacoes e ressignificacoes ao longo do tempo. Propos-se neste estudo analisar como se instituiu a expressao “alimentacao adequada e saudavel” no Brasil. Foi realizada uma analise documental tendo em vista elucidar o desenvolvimento conceitual dos termos em questao no contexto brasileiro. Foram analisados documentos institucionais, a exemplo dos textos originais dos campos da seguranca alimentar e nutricional e da alimentacao e nutricao. Observa-se uma transicao no modo de pensar a alimentacao saudavel no campo da alimentacao e nutricao, antes centrada no estatuto do nutriente. Atualmente, tratamos de uma compreensao ampliada sobre a nocao de alimentacao, que a partir do debate sobre a superacao do foco no componente nutricional dos alimentos, inclui a compreensao sobre um direito humano fundamental, bem como a compreensao sobre as questoes socioculturais e afetivas do comer e sobre as questoes da sustentabilidade ambiental da producao de alimentos com base em modelos produtivos pautados em principios agroecologicos e da soberania alimentar. Argumenta-se que a combinacao entre as expressoes e representativa do esforco em aproximar as compreensoes e os debates dos campos da seguranca alimentar e nutricional e da alimentacao e nutricao no que se refere a polissemica nocao de alimentacao.

Influência da governança corporativa e da intangibilidade no desempenho das maiores empresas brasileiras

Abstract: Este estudo objetivou analisar a influencia da governanca corporativa e da intangibilidade no desempenho das empresas. Para tal, utilizou-se uma analise descritiva, documental e de abordagem quantitativa dos dados, com uma amostra que compreendeu 81 empresas de acordo com o ranking da revista Exame Melhores e Maiores, edicao 2018, considerando dados referentes ao periodo de 2010 a 2017. Os resultados apontaram que as empresas mais intangivel-intensivas se destacaram em relacao as empresas menos intangivel-intensivas em termos de desempenho de mercado. Observou-se que a governanca corporativa associa-se com o baixo nivel de intangibilidade, medio-baixo desempenho financeiro e com o alto desempenho de mercado, enquanto a intangibilidade nao apresentou correlacoes com o desempenho. Os achados sinalizaram ainda que, para conseguir maior desempenho de mercado, as empresas buscam por estrategias competitivas de governanca corporativa, ao passo que a intangibilidade nao se mostrou significante na promocao de maior desempenho.

Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional e fatores associados em municípios baianos de diferentes portes populacionais

Abstract: O artigo apresenta resultados da avaliação da Insegurança Alimentar (IA) em municípios da Bahia, Brasil. Aplicou-se um protocolo com 23 indicadores que medem a Segurança Alimentar e Nutricional nas quatro dimensões. Foram investigados 57 municípios de diferentes portes (pequeno, médio e grande). Foram utilizados estatísticas descritivas e os testes de Correlação de Pearson e Qui-quadrado de Pearson. Todos os municípios foram classificados em situação de IA (24,6% IA leve, 71,9% IA moderada e 3,5% IA grave), independente do porte. A IA foi identificada em todas as dimensões, mas sob uma perspectiva estatística, houve correlação significante principalmente entre indicadores da dimensão de acesso.

Avaliação da Qualidade das Informações disponibilizadas no Portal da Transparência do Estado do Ceará

Abstract: The purpose of this article is to analyze the information quality provided by Transparency Portal of the State of Ceara. In order to achieve this, a quantitative and descriptive research was carried out, based on a survey with the analysts, technicians and auxiliary of external control in the Tribunal de Contas do Estado do Ceara to evaluate their perception about the four dimensions and sixteen quality attributes defined in the evaluation model of Eppler (2006). The results show that the Transparency Portal presents information of high relevance and high adequacy. It is concluded that the Transparency Portal presents high attendance to attributes related to clarity, applicability, correction, currently, timeliness and speed and presents failures in the traceability attribute.

A fase de pré-institucionalização do programa de apoio ao intercambista (pai) e os entraves à sua objetivação

Abstract: The Exchange students Support Program (PAI) belongs to the Faculty of Economics, Administration, Actuarial and Accounting (FEAAC) of the Federal University of Ceara (UFC) and aims to help and guide international academic mobility students in the UFC during their first Moments in Fortaleza, providing support, and encouraging the exchange of experiences between the exchange students and the regular students of UFC. This study aims to analyze the factors that configure the program in the pre-institutionalization phase, according to the model of Tolbert and Zucker (1999). The following specific criteria were established: i) to verify the evolution of the determining factors in the verification of the pre-institutionalization phase of the program over the three years; ii) to identify the obstacles to progress in the objectification phase and iii) to verify the factors that contribute to the objectification phase of the program. This research has a qualitative approach. Regarding the outcomes, it is exploratory, and in relation to means, it is descriptive, with field and document research. The data collected was analyzed using Bardinn‘s (2016) content analysis. The research contributes with a deepening of the process of institutionalization of support for foreign students at a Brazilian University, a subject with little dissemination or exploration in the national research so far. It is concluded that there was an evolution of the factors that determined the pre-institutionalization phase of the program. It was observed that one of the main factors that poses obstacles in the objectification phase of the program is the lack of a physical structure, and that one of the Factors that contribute to the objectification phase is monitoring through comparison with the support for foreign students offered by other Brazilian or foreign universities. In terms of limitations of the research, the number of interviewees was small, and future research, a suggestion would be to investigate the perceptions of teachers, civil servants and managers on the subject.

A estrutura organizacional da Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC): um estudo de caso à luz da teoria das cinco configurações de Mintzberg

Abstract: With the management approach in the public governance since the 1900 decade, the administration of educational institutions has been losing its purely educational nature and taking a stronger management role, which requires a larger discussion about the existing management models in the federal government universities. Mintzberg’s structure of five theory (2008), theoretical lens of this work, proposes five basics typologies in which organizational structures can be classified. Therefore, the main objective of this paper was to analyze how the predominant type of organizational structure from Ceara Federal University (UFC) contributes to the achievement of its institutional objectives. The following specific objectives were proposed: identify the main coordination mechanism from UFC; identify the key part of UFC’s organizational structure; identify the type of decentralization prevailing in UFC; identify the difficulties caused by UFC’s organizational setup and identify the facilitators provided by UFC’s organizational setup. In this way, were realized a bibliographic and documentary research and a case study, which unit of analysis was UFC’s organizational structure. It was concluded that UFC’s predominant type of organizational structure is a hybrid between mechanized bureaucracy and professional bureaucracy. About the institutional objectives, it was observed that the current organization setup provides more difficulties than facilities for its achievement.
