A new caffeoyl quinic acid from aster scaber and its inhibitory activity against human immunodeficiency virus-1 (HIV-1) integrase.
Hak Cheol Kwon,Chil Mann Jung,Cha Gyun Shin,Jong Kyo Lee,Sang Un Choi,Sun Yeou Kim,Kang Ro Lee +6 more
TL;DR: The phytochemical study of the aerial parts of Aster scaber Thunb.
Journal ArticleDOI
Phenolic constituents of Acorus gramineus.
Cheol Hyeong Park,Ki-Hyun Kim,Il Kyun Lee,Seung Young Lee,Sang Un Choi,Jei Hyun Lee,Kang Ro Lee +6 more
TL;DR: The purification of a MeOH extract from the rhizome of Acorus gramineus (Araceae) using column chromatography furnished two new stereoisomers of phenylpropanoid, acoraminol A and acoraimol B, which furnished 17 known phenolic compounds, β-asarone, which were isolated for the first time from this plant source.
Journal ArticleDOI
Isolation of limonoids and alkaloids from Phellodendron amurense and their multidrug resistance (MDR) reversal activity.
TL;DR: Three limonoids and five alkaloids were isolated from the chloroform layer of the MeOH extract of the bark of Phellodendron amurense (Rutaceae) and examined for their P-gp related MDR reversal activities.
Journal ArticleDOI
Polyphenols from the bark of Rhus verniciflua and their biological evaluation on antitumor and anti-inflammatory activities
TL;DR: On the basis of the expanded understanding that inflammation is a crucial cause of tumor progression, the anti-inflammatory activities of these compounds were determined by measuring nitric oxide levels in the medium of murine microglia BV-2 cells.
Journal ArticleDOI
Pytochemical Constituents of the Aerial Parts from Solidago virga-aurea var. gigantea
TL;DR: The chromatographic separation of the MeOH extract of the aerial parts of Solidago virgaaurea var.
