Journal ArticleDOI
Focal localization of inflammatory cytokines and neurotrophins in a tongue chronic injury model.
Sanjiv Neupane,Hyun-Guek Jung,Wern-Joo Sohn,Hitoshi Yamamoto,Ji-Youn Kim,Jin-Seok Byun,Youngkyun Lee,Yong Chul Bae,Jae-Kap Choi,Jae-Young Kim,Jae-Kwang Jung +10 more
TL;DR: This study indicates the possible pathophysiologic mechanism underlying neuro-inflammation following chronically injury of tongue and could be cautiously postulated that mechanical injury should be avoided to prevent chronic pain disorders from being triggered.
Journal ArticleDOI
Corrigendum to: ADAMTS9 and ADAMTS20 are differentially affected by loss of B3GLCT in mouse model of Peters plus syndrome
Bernadette C. Holdener,Christopher J. Percival,Richard C. Grady,Daniel C Cameron,Steven J. Berardinelli,Ao Zhang,Sanjiv Neupane,Megumi Takeuchi,Javier C Jimenez-Vega,Sardar M Z Uddin,David E. Komatsu,Robert Honkanen,Johanne Dubail,Suneel S. Apte,Takashi Sato,Hisashi Narimatsu,Steve A. McClain,Robert S. Haltiwanger +17 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Signaling Modulation by miRNA-221-3p During Tooth Morphogenesis in Mice.
Yam Prasad Aryal,Tae-Young Kim,Eui-Seon Lee,Chang-Hyeon An,Ji-Youn Kim,Hitoshi Yamamoto,Sanggyu Lee,Youngkyun Lee,Wern-Joo Sohn,Sanjiv Neupane,Jae-Young Kim +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the function of miRNA-221-3p in tooth development, through its loss or gain in function was evaluated using a variety of techniques, including in vitro tooth cultivation, renal capsule transplantation, in situ hybridization, real-time PCR, and immunohistochemistry.
Journal ArticleDOI
Implications of specific gene expression patterns in enamel knot in tooth development
Tae-Young Kim,Sanjiv Neupane,Yam Prasad Aryal,Eui-Seon Lee,KimJi-Youn,Seo Jo-Young,Lee Youngkyun,Wern-Joo Sohn,Seo-Young An,Jung-Hong Ha,Chang-Hyeon An,Kim, Jae Young +11 more
TL;DR: This study examined the expression patterns of key EK-specific genes including Dusp26, Fat4, Meis2, Sln, and Zpld1 during mice embryogenesis to reveal putative differentiation mechanisms underlying tooth morphogenesis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Gene profiling involved in fate determination of salivary gland type in mouse embryogenesis
Nirpesh Adhikari,Sanjiv Neupane,Jiyeon Roh,Yam Prasad Aryal,Eui-Seon Lee,Jae-Kwang Jung,Hitoshi Yamamoto,Youngkyun Lee,Wern-Joo Sohn,Jae-Young Kim,Ji-Youn Kim +10 more
TL;DR: The findings suggest that differential expression patterns of the mesenchymal signaling molecules are involved in fate determination of the salivary acinar cell types during mouse embryogenesis.
