Highly Durable Membrane Electrode Assembly with Multiwalled Carbon Nanotubes/CeO2‐Reinforced Nafion Composite Membrane by Spraying Method for Fuel Cell Applications

TL;DR: In this article , a single spray-coating method for developing a robust and freestanding reinforced Nafion composite membrane and electrodes is reported, which shows excellent mechanical properties with minimal proton-conducting loss.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fabrication and design of mechanically stable and free-standing polymeric membrane with two-level apertures.

TL;DR: The fabrication process and the investigation of mechanically stable, flexible and free-standing polymeric membranes with two-level apertures with overlapped oxygen inhibition layers with variation in diameters of the micro-sized supporting layer are reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Investigation on the Microscopic/Macroscopic Mechanical Properties of a Thermally Annealed Nafion® Membrane.

TL;DR: In this paper, the microscopic properties of thermally annealed Nafion® membranes were measured using atomic force microscopy with the two-point method, and the microscopic modulus exceeded the macroscopic modulus over all annealing temperature ranges.
