Journal ArticleDOI

Crystal structure, Hirshfeld surface analysis, DFT and molecular docking studies on benzohydrazide derivatives as potential inhibitors of prostate cancer

TL;DR: In this paper, single crystals of (E)-N'-((1-,chloro-3,4-dihydronaphthalen-2-yl)methylene)-3-nitro benzohydrazide and(E)-3]-chloro n'-n'-(( 1-chloro, 3,4dihdronaphthyn-2,yl) methylene) benzhydrazide were grown from the (DMSO/CDCl3) by slow evaporation growth technique.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and Microbiological Evaluation of Some N-Methyl Piperidone Oxime Ethers

TL;DR: Some variously substituted 1-methyl-2,6-diarylpiperidin-4-one O-benzyloximes have been synthesized and their antibacterial activity against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella typhi, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Klebsiella pneumoniae and antifungal activity against Candida albicans and Cryptococcus neoformans were evaluated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and evaluation of thiazolidinone–pyrazole conjugates as anticancer and antimicrobial agents

TL;DR: The halogen atoms on various positions of the N-arylamino ring played an advantageous role in elevating the potency of the molecules and these conjugates could be used as a lead for further optimization to achieve promising therapeutics.
Journal ArticleDOI

Stereocontrolled facile synthesis and antimicrobial activity of oximes and oxime ethers of diversely substituted bispidines

TL;DR: All the synthesized oximes and oxime ethers were evaluated for their in vitro antimicrobial activity against a panel of pathogenic bacteria and fungi, and as a result of the structure-activity correlations, some lead molecules were known for further optimization.
