The Phoenix Evening Transition Flow Experiment (TRANSFLEX)

TL;DR: In this article, a field experiment, dubbed transition flow experiment, was conducted in Phoenix, Arizona to study the evening transition in complex terrain (shift of winds from upslope to downslope) and two scenarios were considered: (i) the flow reversal due to a change of buoyancy of a cooled slab of air near the ground, and (ii) the formation of a transition front.
Journal ArticleDOI

Washable, stretchable, and reusable core–shell metal nanowire network-based electronics on a breathable polymer nanomesh substrate

TL;DR: In this paper , an ultradurable embedded Ag-Au core-shell nanowire network (AANN) on a nanomesh substrate is fabricated using the intense pulsed light irradiation and electroplating (IPL-EP) process.
Journal ArticleDOI

Highly Emissive Green ZnSeTe Quantum Dots: Effects of Core Size on Their Optical Properties and Comparison with InP Counterparts

TL;DR: In this paper , different-sized green-emissive ZnSeTe cores are synthesized while maintaining the same Se/Te ratio, and the size-dependent molar absorption coefficients (ε450 nm) at 450 nm of a series of ZnSETe cores were assessed, nearly scaling with the core volume.
Journal ArticleDOI

Transport Characteristics of Silicon Multi-Quantum-Dot Transistor Analyzed by Means of Experimental Parametrization Based on Single-Hole Tunneling Model

TL;DR: In this article , the transport characteristics of a gate-all-around Si multiple-quantum-dot (QD) transistor were studied by means of experimental parametrization using theoretical models.
