Synthesis and characterization of nanoscale composite particles formed by 2D layers of Cu-Fe sulfide and Mg-based hydroxide

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a layered material valleriite composed of altering atomic sheets of Cu-Fe sulfide and Mg-based hydroxide synthesized via a simple hydrothermal pathway as particles of 50-200 nm in the lateral size and 10-20 nm thick.
Journal ArticleDOI

Structure and the Magnetic and Magneto-Optical Properties of Co-Sm-O Nanogranular Films

TL;DR: In this paper, the magnetic properties and magneto-optical effects in nanocomposites based on Co-Sm-O films prepared through pulsed plasma sputtering of a SmCo5 target are investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of Gas Pressure on the Properties of Electric-Arc Titanium Nitride Powders

TL;DR: In this article, it is shown that increasing the gas pressure to 32 Pa sharply reduces the particle size and improves the uniformity of the powder in particle size, and the possible reasons for the markedly reduced lattice parameter of ultrafine titanium nitride are discussed.
