Determination of the dynamic characteristics of freight wagons with various bogie
Serhiy V. Myamlin,Leonas Povilas Lingaitis,Stasys Dailydka,Gediminas Vaičiūnas,Marijonas Bogdevičius,Gintautas Bureika +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the main dynamic indicators include the vertical Kvd and horizontal Khd dynamic coefficients as well as the stability coefficient Ks, which determines the wheel flange resistance to derailment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Testing of Railway Vehicles Using Roller Rigs
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented an initial study prepared within the framework of the joint project and summarized the possibilities of roller rig utilization for railway vehicles research and described the main concepts of existing design solutions.
JournalDOI
Prediction Methodology of Durability of Locomotives Diesel Engines
Leonas Povilas Lingaitis,Serhiy V. Myamlin,Sergey Mjamlin,Сергій Віталійович Мямлін,Сергей Витальевич Мямлин,Denis Baranovsky,Денис Миколайович Барановський,Virgilijus Jastremskas +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, Lingaitis, S. Mjamlin, D. Baranovsky, V. V. Jastremskas, and P. P. Radev presented a methodology of predicting the durability of locomotives diesel engines.
Journal ArticleDOI
Modelling the interaction between railway wheel and rail
TL;DR: In this paper, a mathematical model for assessing the real operating conditions of railway rolling stock, taking into account the situations when the wheel loses contact with rail, is presented, and the obtained amplitudinal fluctuation characteristics depend on the set roughness function and the running speed of the wheel.
Journal ArticleDOI
Research of Innovations of Diesel Locomotives and Bogies
TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented the examples of selecting a bogie by using multi-criteria optimization methods for diesel locomotives. But the solutions obtained by different methods were compared, and shortcomings of certain multicriteria optimisation methods for selection of a locomotive model according to its parameters were established.
