Modeling and simulation of a grid-connected pv generation system for electromagnetic transient analysis

TL;DR: In this paper, a simple circuit model of the solar array is used to easily simulate its inherent characteristics with the basic specification data, and detailed power and protection control of the GCPS as well as its electrical circuits have been represented by user-defined and built-in components to take into account transients in normal and fault conditions, which are dominated by its power electronic controller.

Development of Hardware In-the-Loop Simulation System for Testing Operation and Control Functions of Microgrid

TL;DR: In this paper, a hardware in-the-loop simulation (HILS) system is proposed to develop and test control algorithms and operation strategies for a microgrid, which is composed of a real-time digital simulator (RTDS) for realtime simulation of the micro-grid, a prototype microgrid management system (MMS) under test, and a communication emulator for interface between the prototype MMS and the RTDS.
