Phosphonium Chloride Induced Dichlorosilylene Transfer from Trichlorosilane

TL;DR: This paper showed that trichlorosilane with conjugated dienes or an acetylene solution at 150 or 180 °C in the presence of a catalytic quantity of tetrabutylphosphonium chloride resulted in elimination of HCl and dichlorosilylene transfer to the unsaturated substrates to afford silacyclopentenes or 1,4-disilacyclohexa-2,5-dienes, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Phosphonium Chloride-Catalyzed Dehydrochlorinative Coupling Reactions of Alkyl Halides with Hydridochlorosilanes

TL;DR: In this paper, the dehydrochlorinative Si−C coupling reactions of various primary and secondary alkyl chlorides with hydridochlorosilanes in the presence of tetrabutylphosphonium chloride as catalyst gave the coupling products with elimination of HCl as a gas.

Process for preparing organochlorosilanes by dehydrohalogenative coupling reaction of alkyl halides with chlorosilanes

TL;DR: In this article, a process for preparing organochlorosilanes of formula I by a dehydrohalogenative coupling of hydrochlorosilane of formula II with organic halides of formula III in the presence of quaternary phosphonium salt as a catalyst is described.
Journal ArticleDOI

Access to β-Lactams via Iron-Catalyzed Olefin Oxyamidation Enabled by the π-Accepting Phthalocyanine Ligand.

TL;DR: The development of an iron-catalyzed olefin oxyamidation by utilizing tethered dioxazolones as the nitrenoid precursor to produce valuable β-lactam scaffolds is reported.
