Journal ArticleDOI

Patch2Vec: Globally Consistent Image Patch Representation

TL;DR: This paper presents a method to analyze patches by embedding them to a vector space, in which the Euclidean distance reflects patch similarity, and uses Convolutional Neural Networks to learn Patch2Vec.
Book ChapterDOI

Tensor Embedding of the Fundamental Matrix

TL;DR: The motivation is to establish a common terminology that bridges between the fundamental matrix F ( associated with the bilinear constraint) and the trifocal tensor Τijk (associated with the trilinearities) to unify both the properties and the techniques introduced in the past for working with multiple views for geometric applications.

Underwater Single Image Color Restoration Using Haze-Lines and a New Quantitative Dataset

TL;DR: In this article, the attenuation ratio of the blue-red and blue-green color channels is estimated and the problem is reduced to single image dehazing, where all color channels have the same attenuation coefficients.
Book ChapterDOI

Deep Image Compression using Decoder Side Information

TL;DR: In this paper, a deep image compression neural network is proposed that relies on side information which is only available to the decoder, based on the assumption that the image available to both encoder and decoder are correlated and the network learns these correlations in the training phase.
